What If…What If is the greatest question you could ever ask?
In a world where absolutes are the name of the game, What If becomes the game changer we never knew we sought. Every commercial, ad, marketing campaign revolves around the concept that if you do/buy/see/use this, the results are guaranteed and your life will change for the better. It’s an absolute truth. Just don’t read the fine print.
Absolutes offer us a sense of peace and security. It’s the way forward, all other uncertainties may now cease to wiggle around in the back of the mind. We can take a deep breath and carry on down our chosen path. The road ahead is clear and determined, straight and wide. The birds are singing, the grass is waving in the gentle breeze, and you can see the mountains on the horizon. Life is good.
Until the next fork in the road. The fallen tree blocking passage, the sinkhole you never saw coming. The attack of the unforeseen challenge. A new moment of uncertainty, indecision and anxiety is upon you, and now you are finally going to have to read the fine print after all.
